About

A service built on one discipline: getting the record right.

Tarusov Transcription was founded by Lee Tarusov, an LLB Law graduate with a professional background in electronic notetaking for confidential meetings. Before founding the service, Lee provided live notetaking across more than one hundred confidential meetings and sessions — disciplinary matters, sensitive discussions, formal proceedings — in settings where the note was the record.

That work shapes how this service is run. Legal and workplace proceedings have their own vocabulary, structure and formality; a transcript prepared without understanding them tends to show it. An LLB background means the terminology is familiar, the significance of precise wording is understood, and the difference between what was said and what was meant is treated with appropriate care.

Tarusov Transcription is founder-led by design. Every assignment is scoped, prepared and reviewed under the direct oversight of the person whose name is on the business — which means the standard described on this site is the standard applied to the work, without layers in between. The service is grounded in founder experience in confidential live documentation, legal literacy, and a working method in which every transcript is reviewed by a person before delivery.

How the service is run

Accuracy before speed

Turnaround is agreed honestly and met — but never by trading away the review that makes a record reliable.

Discretion by default

Assignments are not named or referenced in marketing, and client identities are never disclosed without explicit permission.

Plain dealing

Scope, timing, methods and price are confirmed clearly before work begins. The commitments made in writing govern the assignment.
